Oh I wish
Oh, how I wish, I'd got the camera out earlier to take Pippa's photo as she cycled over this slimy, slippy ford - I didn't realise you could cycle for such a distance with your eyes tightly shut!That's the flag of my recumbent just in shot on the right there.
The Old Chateau
Having crossed the bridge at Memillon we turn left, it would have been much quicker had we turned right, which I intended to do, but had we done so we wouldn't have seen this beautiful chateau cum farmstead.
Old and the New
In the background you can see the new Chateau, not so pretty as the old one I think.
Barn
I just liked the shape of the roof of this barn, and the cut wheat was also what part of this ride was like. It was quite varied really, flat wheatfields and slightly hillier wooded bits - but overall easy riding.
