France - Bikes & Pippa
Having had such a good time cycling in France, and since Pips had long had a yen for driving to France, we combined the two and took the bikes with the car and went cycling and camping and exploring and eating and strolling and eating - oh, did I mention eating?

Washing
I was quite pleased with this setup, I'd hung the curly washing line thingy onto the electricity output at one end and needed somewhere to hang at the other. Enter the upside-down-bike-solution, worked at treat. Worked a treat until we needed to go out for dinner that is. But my inventiveness knew no bounds. Whipping out my Swiss Army Knife I whittled a dead branch of a tree into a point and pushed it into the ground at 45°s and attached the washing line to that. Also worked a treat.
Oops, me again
Pippa had the camera this time - can you make out the pretty river behind me?
Almost dinner
So, washing line sorted out we rode the 2km back to Espagnac for dinner. We sat in the pretty garden and had a beer each. We couldn't make up our minds between the blond and the brown and so had one of each. We also struck up conversation with a nice guy who was also there for dinner - we bumped into him a few day's later in Figeac - a dutch guy, living in France, who was doing part of the pilgrims' way to Santiago de Compostella. At the end of the beer we were told to walk around the back to where we'd have dinner. This is the gite d'Etape through which we walked to get to that back.
Priory - table for two
And what's this? The back of the ancient priory where, apparently we were going to have dinner.
