Event Photos
These pages are to record 'events' that is to say things that I bother taking photos of or assembling photos of. There's perhaps a better word than 'events' but I couldn't think of one.
Click on any of the photos to go into that event and see the individual photos that comprise it.
If you're a friend then you can click on the 'Sign In' button above. You can register using Dropbox, Google, Facebook or your email address. Once signup and then signed in you can comment on any of the photos, just by clicking on the little pencil image that will appear next to any of the 'event' photos after you've logged in.
At the beginning of October an old and dear friend, Pippa Sterne, came to visit and stay. These photos are some she took one sunny morning on a walk via St Mary's Lighthouse and then to the Beehive for lunch.
We were asked to go dog sitting for some close family friends in Kelso, something Pippa was more than enthusiastic about. I was not. As it turned out though even I warmed to them. It was an unseasonably warm few day's spent almost exclusively in shorts.
A lovely sunny May day was the setting for a stroll by the North Tyne to get a pub lunch and then stroll back. Didn't go quite according to plan of course. I think the pub being shut at lunch time had a lot to do with it.
North west of Hexham just off the B6320 before Wark, we found a nice little village called Simonburn. A very pretty little village that was the start for a small circular walk and the end point for tea in an idyllic little tea-shop.
