France - Bikes & Pippa
Having had such a good time cycling in France, and since Pips had long had a yen for driving to France, we combined the two and took the bikes with the car and went cycling and camping and exploring and eating and strolling and eating - oh, did I mention eating?

Marcilhac-sur-Célé
Marcilhac-sur-Célé was a film set. A medieval village by the side of the river with half-timbered houses and a couple of nice restaurants; though one was closed and the other only served food at midday.
Dinner
Not that it bothered us not being able to eat at Marcilhac since we fancied an excuse to eat at La Belle Epoque again. I had foie gras poêlé, fried that is, with hot summer fruits. The rest was pretty good too, but that was spectacular.
Horse & friend
Pips took this, they were inseparable apparently, and the two sugar cubes I'd acquired along the way went to good homes.
Figeac
The following morning we went back to Figeac and to the most excellent Hotel Des Bains. We'd bought Rocamadour cheese that morning, actually we'd bought 20 of them if truth were told. So, the first question when checking in to a hotel for the next four day's was: 'do you have a fridge' rather than 'does the room come with a shower'So after making sure our cheeses were safe we decided to wander around town where there as a market, selling food, clothes, flowers, well, most anything you might want in fact.
