Two day cycle trip to Simonburn
This was a two day trip, firstly to Stamfordham for an overnight in Church House, a beautiful B&B, and then on to Simonburn, just south of Wark in Northumberland. We largely followed the Reivers' Route except for the start where we took a even more traffic-free route to Camperdown via a bridleway from Holy'stone.

Approaching Keepwick Farm
Keepwick Farm is lovely and all of the verges approaching it are mowed. On the way back through here we met a farmer with very nice collie, as 'soft as clarts', he told us.
Photo opp
Since I'd got off the bike to take the previous photo we decided to have a Powerbar break and I got my photie taken.
Poser
Practising my 'I want to be alone' pose by the look of it ;-) Though in fact this is my "hell it's so hot and that after that climb I'm knackered" pose.
Where are we again?
This is just after Green Carts where we ate the chicken sandwiches I'd made the morning we left. A very tasty treat. Not far to go now.
