A good traveler has no fixed plans and is not intent on arriving.
This is the point where the path meets the road at the hause at Side Pike before the road drops down to Great Langdale. We, by contrast, go up at this point to contour at first and go up Redacre Gill.

As we start to get higher the hills in the adjacent valley's start to become visible.
The descent
Well, what a pity, no photos from the top, no photos of our lovely lunch spot on a bit of warm rock looking west; we could see the sea.This is on the way down, no tracks just a general direction and a bit boggy at times but nothing too bad.
